Man y’all don’t get it he’s produced an fWAR of 12 combined in 2022-23 which is the 4th best amongst position players behind only Judge Betts and Freeman. His individual offensive numbers may not jump out like there’s does but his base running and defense combined with his offensive value make him one of the best players in baseball.

Damn two months into a season and a player is already washed up. That's dumb.

There is way too much focus on his salary. Fans really need to stop buying into this trap the owners have been laying for years. These are billion dollar corporations. Not only is the team easily able to pay the contract, but they are making a profit off Lindor in fans he draws, jersey sales, notoriety, etc. Players can potentially bring way more value than just the stats on their baseball cards. And Lindor has that. With that being said, the argument needs to be focused on whether he is actually one of the best SS when it comes to helping a team win games.
